Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Garage Door Installer & Technician is responsible for the installation, service, and repair of residential and light commercial garage doors and openers. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Install new garage doors, openers, and related hardware Troubleshoot and repair existing doors and openers (springs, cables, rollers, tracks, etc.) Perform preventative maintenance and tune-ups Load/unload materials and tools for job sites Ensure all jobs are completed safely and to company standards Communicate clearly and professionally with customers Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle Document completed work and collect payment when applicable Qualifications Experience installing or servicing garage doors preferred (willing to train the right person) Mechanical aptitude and comfort using power tools Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work on ladders Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a team Excellent communication and customer service skills High school diploma or equivalent What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Full-time, year-round work Supportive team environment with growth potential On-the-job training and certifications as needed Local routes – home every night Apply Today!
