Service Technician

Job Description Job Description We are a family-owned company looking to hire a full or part time Service Technician for residential and commercial electrical projects in Fairfield County. Women in trades are encouraged to apply. About the Work Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems (all voltages up to 600V), in full compliance with local and national codes Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues, safety hazards, and code violations Read blueprints / schematics and design code-compliant layouts for fixtures, wiring, and electrical systems Deliver consistently neat, labeled, and “photo-ready” installations every time Lead small crews when required, schedule daily work, and ensure jobs stay safe, on-time, and high-quality Train and mentor junior electricians on the job as needed Build customer trust with professional service and clear, honest recommendations Partner with dispatch and office staff to keep jobs running smoothly Maintain spotless, organized job sites and trucks; stay fully accountable for all tools, materials, and equipment; and always work safely Requirements Reliable, responsible, professional CT licensed E2 electrician OSHA-10 minimum Minimum 7 years’ experience managing and supervising residential and commercial jobs Ability to lift 50 pounds Comfortable working in tight spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions; able to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Able to work independently Good communication with customers and staff Pride in workmanship Able to troubleshoot Able to manage multiple projects Able to pass a background check and drug test Knowledge of local electrical codes and proper electrical safety, and the able to make on-the-job decisions Proven track record in electrical techniques including trace lines, and reading wiring diagrams Highly organized High integrity, exceptional communication, and social skills Proven ability to make solid customer connections and relate with customers positively Strong desire to improve professionally Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation with a salary based on experience, on the job training available to advance you in the company Stable work environment where your growth is encouraged and supported Continuous and extensive training and development opportunities Company-scheduled and prepared jobs Health insurance 401K plan with company match PTO and paid holidays Company Provided – vehicle, gas card, uniform, phone
