About The Position Adelphi is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and episodic healthcare services within a secured correctional healthcare setting in DuPage County, Illinois. The NP will evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions under the supervision of the Medical Director. Manage acute, chronic, and routine medical conditions in collaboration with the Medical Director. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as permitted by licensure. Document all clinical encounters and maintain accurate medical records. Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication adherence. Support continuity of care between medical, nursing, and behavioral health disciplines. Participate in case reviews, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. Adhere to facility safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
