Job Title: Physical TherapistJob Specialty: Outpatient RehabilitationJob Duration: PermanentShift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PMGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Affiliation or employment experience in a physical disability setting preferredLicense: Must be currently licensed and in good standing in the state of practice or be license eligible with a temporary letter to practice grantedCertifications: BLS Certification requiredMust-Have: - Adherence to non-compete policies regarding recent employees and direct applicantsJob Description: Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.- Administer treatments and physical agents to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.- Assist patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.- Coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff, including Aides, PTAs, and students.- Participate in operational aspects of the department and maintain performance improvement activities.- Ensure that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis.- Participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety, and fire safety programs.- Care for or interact with diverse patient age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric.- Occasional Saturday shifts as needed.
