This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their accounting expertise in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of our organization, ensuring all financial operations run smoothly, and helping us make sound financial decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all aspects of our accounting functions, including general ledger, expenses, assets, liabilities, and account reconciliation. Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable coding. Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation to facilitate audit processes. Review financial reports for accuracy and completeness, and ensure they comply with laws and regulations. Analyze financial data and create reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties like lenders or creditors. Develop and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Provide strategic financial planning advice to senior management. Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably within the healthcare industry. Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation. Strong understanding of accounting principles, including general ledger functions, assets, liabilities, account reconciliation, and accounts payable coding. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles. Proven ability to work with external auditors. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to work independently, with little supervision, and feel comfortable making decisions. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner. Excellent analytical skills with an ability to research and analyze financial data to help company make well informed decisions. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
