Pay Information $2,367 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Bone Marrow Transplant Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Medical-Surgical and Oncology License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification Must-Have: - Chemotherapy certification required - Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias Description: Looking for a registered nurse specialized in Bone Marrow Transplant. Candidates must have experience in oncology and medical-surgical nursing. The role includes caring for patients with various hematologic conditions, including leukemia and lymphoma. The nursing unit focuses on patients receiving autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants. Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy and management of central lines. Skills in monitoring vital signs and interpreting telemetry are essential. Candidates must be flexible as the schedule may include weekends and nights based on facility needs. Maximum of 1-2 days of requested time off is allowed. Attention to infection prevention protocols and fall prevention measures is critical. Interdisciplinary support services are available for comprehensive patient care. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration within the team.
