Pharmacy Technician Compensation The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour Shift Differential: Shift 2: $1.00/hr Shift 3: $2.50/hr Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with company match is available to full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Pharmacy Technician Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to transition permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs Required availability: Tuesday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Onsite role in South Salt Lake, UT Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities Work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs Enter data into the pharmacy system to support billing and reimbursement Assist in prepackaging medications and labeling per state and federal requirements Support pharmacists during final prescription checks and ensure timely delivery coordination Maintain accurate inventory control , including receiving, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers, and documenting expiration dates Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, including equipment checks for accuracy, calibration, and safety Pharmacy Technician Requirements High School Diploma or GED Active Utah Pharmacy Technician License required Mandatory attendance during the first 90 days Previous pharmacy experience (retail, inpatient, or LTC) preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent communication and organizational skills If you think this Pharmacy Technician position is a good fit for you , please reach out — feel free to call, email, or apply to this posting!
