Pay Information $2,242 per week About The Position ID: 74046200 Shift: 12H Nights 12 hr nights Description: Unit : PCU*Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS*Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles. Beds: 35- Ratios: 1:4-5- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, Cardiac, nephrology, stokes, DM, continuous EEG monitoring- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Cardizem, betablockers, seizure medications- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge Nurse- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios?
