VNA driver night shift

Job Description: Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced VNA driver to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting stock efficiently and safely, ensuring the highest standards of vehicle and cargo safety. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, equipment handling, and mechanical knowledge to support seamless logistics processes. Must have an In date VNA licence Responsibilities Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Assist with materials handling within the warehouse, including organising stock and maintaining accurate records via the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic equipment repairs to ensure operational readiness. Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing goods for dispatch or receipt, verifying quantities, and documenting transactions accurately. Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle or equipment issues promptly. Perform basic maths calculations for inventory counts, weight measurements, and delivery documentation. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency at all times. Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate schedules and optimise delivery routes for maximum efficiency. Experience Proven experience in warehouse management systems (WMS) and materials handling procedures. Prior experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is highly desirable; relevant certifications will be an advantage. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor repairs on vehicles or equipment. Experience in shipping & receiving operations within a warehouse environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and inventory management. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks. Good understanding of basic maths for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation purposes.
