Assignment Overview Location: Mayfield, KY Facility Type: Community Hospital | 14-Bed Emergency Department Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Ongoing Coverage Start Date: ASAP – Temp privileges available for clean files Duration: Long-Term (6 Months) Schedule & Coverage Shifts: 12-Hour Coverage | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Shifts per Month: ~24 available APP Coverage: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM daily Weekend & Night Coverage Required Clinical Details Annual ED Volume: ~19,710 visits Patient Flow: ~1.8 patients/hour Trauma Designation: None Admitting Orders: Bridge Orders Support Staff: APPs on-site hospitalist program EMR: MedHost Candidate Requirements Board Certification: EM, IM, or FM (within facility eligibility) Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS (current) Licensure: Active KY Medical License required Experience: Prior emergency department experience with comfort managing a full patient mix Why This Opportunity?
