TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Des Moines, Iowa, 50309! Pay Information $2,433 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years NICU experience License: Iowa state license required Certifications: BLS, NRP required Must-Have: Dependent and Child Abuse certifications can be obtained during onboarding. Will accept first-time travelers. May float to general pediatrics and PICU. Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. This involves the application of the nursing process. You will be responsible for caring for infants with conditions such as prematurity, respiratory distress/failure, and hypoglycemia. You will need to manage care that may include the administration of vasopressors and sedation. You will be required to work every third weekend, including holiday rotation if scheduled. You must adhere to the guidelines regarding time off requests around the winter holidays.
