Pay Information $2,577 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years current experience in Labor & Delivery in a hospital setting License: Iowa Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, NRP, BLS Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, NRP Description: This position offers same-day interviews. Qualified candidates should be prepared for a call. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process. The unit has a bed size of 45 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2. Patient types include high-risk obstetrics, antepartum, cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries. You will be responsible for managing drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin. Scrubs will be provided. Candidates may be required to float across multiple campuses. Holiday work is required for two out of three major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving). Requests for time off will be limited during holiday periods. All travelers are expected to work every third weekend and participate in holiday rotations if scheduled. References must include one supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the last two years of employment or contract.
