Senior Finance Business Partner Worcester based with a balance of home and office working £49,053 - £58,611 per year 35 hours per week We have an opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Development Investment team based in Worcester. The Development Investment team are responsible for assessing new development opportunities, monitoring existing projects, reporting on project status, drafting Board/Committee papers and providing information to enable the claiming of External funding. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in property development finance including investment appraisal and cashflow modelling. You will need to be an excellent communicator and confident in presenting financial information and influencing decisions. The role of Senior Finance Business Partner will include: Assessing the financial and commercial risks of new investment proposals, applying sensitivity and scenario analysis, and identifying mitigating actions for risk Supporting the wider Development function in drafting investment papers Monitoring and reporting on the status and progress of development projects Providing information to enable claiming of external funding Developing and maintaining effective relationships with all key stakeholders, ensuring issues and shortfalls are addressed and remedied in order to ensure the delivery of high standards of stakeholder care Managing the preparation of business information and the provision of advice for key customers and stakeholders to enable effective monitoring and to support decision making, business planning and effective financial management of development programmes Skills and experiences: Qualified Accountant with an understanding of the UK residential property market Experience of grant funded affordable housing development Business partnering experience Previous experience in property development finance and/or experience of investment appraisal financial modelling Proven experience of successful delivery of projects Why work for us?
