Job Description Job Description Primary Responsibilities: Apply advanced knowledge of electronic controls and PLC programming to diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment. Perform certified repairs on Lincoln Electric controllers as required. Utilize expertise in CNC programming for various machining centers and burn tables to ensure precision and efficiency. Promote and enforce safe equipment handling and repair practices across all maintenance personnel. Provide clear and timely status updates on repair progress to supervisors and management. Partner with production teams to achieve performance goals, maintain quality standards, and meet production targets. Collaborate with supervisors to plan and schedule maintenance activities and ensure proper resource allocation. Contribute to the pre-planning maintenance group, supporting proactive planning and process improvements. Train, mentor, and develop maintenance team members to strengthen overall department capability. Ensure all documentation and reporting (work orders, logbooks, and maintenance records) are complete and accurate. Identify, report, and resolve issues promptly in coordination with supervisors to maintain safety and efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance performance, reliability, and equipment uptime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all maintenance areas. Key Skills & Qualifications: Hands-on maintenance experience with two or more of the following: kinetic burn and drilling machining centers, CNC machines, beam lines, angle masters, Lincoln Electric controllers, or welding equipment (required). Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and safely, while adhering to established processes for documentation, inventory management, and resource utilization. Demonstrated success in prioritizing, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance projects to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtime. Strong communication and collaboration skills with maintenance teams, supervisors, and office staff. Ability to anticipate equipment maintenance needs, provide regular updates, and coordinate activities across shops and yard operations. Skilled in team leadership and conflict resolution, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Experience implementing cost-effective maintenance strategies that improve reliability and reduce operational costs.
