The role will be suited to those who have a strong transport background with experience in routing of multi drop deliveries. Experience in leading large teams and understanding of fatigue management with focus on customer service. Successful applicants will be required to undertake security clearance. Responsibilities Large team leadership Daily route planning Coordinate driver's workloads in accordance with fatigue management systems and processes with maximum vehicle utilisation Liaison with Suppliers and Customers Secure delivery of items within specified time frames Leading procedures associated with the locking and inspection of vehicles Adherence to stringent security requirements Computer recording of deliveries Requirements Demonstrate safety leadership and ensure operational compliance with national safety standards, road transport legislation and dangerous goods regulations Previous experience in routing with 3 years experience in multi drop deliveries Sound knowledge of VIC metro outer metro and regional areas Proven understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility Cost management experience Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of 3PL operations Flexible approach and working hours with excellent communication skills Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at DHL Express Deutschland by 2x J-18808-Ljbffr
