Role: Vice President of Development - Ultra-Luxury Resort & Private Residential Community Location: Baja California Sur, Mexico Salary: USD $250,000 - USD $450,000 per year incentives medical insurance 401k A leading international real estate development company is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Development to oversee the delivery of a landmark, ultra-luxury master-planned community on Mexico’s Pacific Coast - a world-class resort and private residential destination combining high-end hospitality, branded residences, golf, and beach club amenities. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of development management across the project lifecycle - from concept and design through permitting, procurement, and construction - working in close partnership with ownership, consultants, and international brand operators. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, design, and execution of multiple high-value resort and residential assets. Manage project teams, budgets, schedules, and consultants to ensure world-class delivery. Drive coordination between design, construction, finance, and operations teams. Oversee reporting, governance, and risk management for development progress. Foster strategic relationships with government bodies, consultants, and brand partners. Qualifications & Experience: 15 years’ experience in high-end resort development, ideally in North America, the Caribbean, or Latin America. Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase developments with budgets in the hundreds of millions. Background in luxury hospitality, branded residences, or golf resort projects strongly preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is advantageous but not essential. Strong leadership, financial, and communication skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
