Financial Accountant

As the Financial Accountant, youll be responsible for ensuring financial integrity across distribution centres, managing month-end cycles, and providing insights that drive business performance. Youll work alongside a high-performing team committed to continuous improvement, cost control, and innovation in every process. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance reports. Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to monitor costs and enhance efficiency. Manage fixed asset registers, accruals, and intercompany transactions. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for strategic decision-making. Drive process improvements and participate in system optimisation initiatives. Job Experience & Skills Required: BCom Accounting 35 years post-article experience within retail, logistics, or FMCG distribution. Solid technical foundation in accounting principles and reporting standards (IFRS). Experience with large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
