Responsibilities Assignment is in a Level 4 NICU in a hospital setting Patient population includes infants from 23 weeks gestation up to 1 year old with a wide variety of diagnoses Common cases include PPHN, bowel perforation or NEC, BPD, tracheostomy and G-button evaluations, pre-operative cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, and hydrocephalus Required to work night shifts (three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00-07:30) Staff must work one additional shift every three weeks during high census periods Travelers are first to float and may be assigned to PICU, CCU, or med surg pediatric units Responsible for care of neonates and infants with complex and surgical diagnoses Must be flexible and able to float to various pediatric units based on patient care needs No local candidates will be considered for this position Requirements Active NE or compact RN license Minimum experience as a NICU RN required Experience caring for surgical and complex neonates Cannot have previous permanent employment at the facility Candidates must live outside a 100-mile radius from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-635436.
