Join to apply for the Global Head Demand Planning role at ESTEVE The Global Head of Demand Planning leads the global demand planning function and orchestrates the end‑to‑end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across all markets. The role ensures accurate forecasting, close coordination with Supply Planning and Operations, and alignment between commercial, supply chain, and finance teams to support strategic decision‑making and operational excellence. Responsibilities Demand Planning & Forecasting: Lead global demand planning, ensuring accurate short‑, mid‑, and long‑term forecasts across all product portfolios; collaborate with regional teams; drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and bias reduction; own, enhance and implement forecasting tools and methodologies. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Design, implement, and lead the global S&OP cycle; facilitate monthly S&OP meetings with executive stakeholders, presenting scenarios, risks, and recommendations; integrate demand planning with supply, finance, and commercial inputs; monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and working capital. Leadership & Strategy: Build and lead a high‑performing global demand planning team; act as a strategic partner to commercial, finance, and supply chain leadership; develop and execute a 3–5 year roadmap for demand planning and S&OP maturity aligned with corporate objectives; stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and digital innovations in planning. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field. Master’s degree or specialized certification preferred. Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, and customer service in leadership roles; experience in process improvement, lean management, and best practice implementation; proven leadership in global matrix organizations; change management and transformation leadership. Technical Skills: Proficiency in demand planning software, ERP systems (SAP), Excel, and planning systems such as SAP IBP, APO, OMP, Kinaxis. Knowledge: In‑depth knowledge and hands‑on experience in demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English; a third European language is a plus.
