We will deliver excellent value to all of our stakeholders. What you’ll be working on The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the leadership of the warehouse. Currently there are two shift supervisors that report to this position. A key facet of this position is ensuring accurate and timely shipment of customer orders. Essential Job Duties: Maintain a safe working environment for employees through daily huddles and BBS observations. Resolving all employee safety timely and effectively. Communicate all warehouse items at the daily meeting. Attend production meetings for updates on any potential problems. 3. Communicate with Customer Service with load exceptions. 4. Develop strategies for proper inventory placement. 5. Ensure on time and accurate shipment of customer orders. 6. Ensure that all drivers are following OSHA and FMCSA guidelines for truck and forklift operation and inspections. Daily inspections and training updates. Oversee the equipment reliability of all warehouse equipment. Ensure PM’s are scheduled and completed for all equipment. Conduct facility repairs as needed (exterior, interior, docks, doors, lighting). Be the primary contact for all forklift, racking and mole vendors. Follows standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. Must be able to become an IBWA Certified Plant Operator (CPO). Oversee the fleet management. Responsible for maintaining the warehouse budget. Non-Essential Job Duties: Performs related work as assigned by Plant Manager. In the absence of this employee, the direct manager or appointee will cover responsibilities. Why work with us?
