Responsibilities Work in a 12-bed LDRP unit within an acute care hospital Care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients with a 1:1 ratio for laboring patients and 1:2-3 for couplets Perform circulating and recovery responsibilities for C-sections in a dedicated OR suite Unit occasionally receives overflow mastectomy patients for short overnight stays Shifts are 12 hours, 7p-7a, with 6-9 weekend shifts required every 6 weeks and potential inclusion in the holiday rotation No floating required for this position Rare call/standby may occur for low census Uses Epic EMR system; prior Epic experience preferred Blue hospital scrubs are provided Expect to participate in a 1-3 shift orientation with a preceptor at the start of the assignment All time off requests must be submitted prior to the assignment start date Travelers are required to assist with schedule gaps and be flexible with shifts First-time travelers may be considered Must be present in the state during the week of orientation, regardless of remote module requirements Requirements Active CO or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted Minimum of 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year of recent LDRP experience within the last 3 years Certifications required: BLS (AHA), NRP, and either AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM Must be comfortable with triage, caring for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients, and titrating Pitocin and Magnesium drips Must be experienced in circulating and recovering C-sections Driver's license must be submitted for consideration Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility Two professional references required: one from a supervisor within the last year and one supervisor or peer within the last 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-637413.
