Transport Administrator Location: Stow-on-the-Wold, GL54 Department: Logistics / Operations Employment Type: Temporary Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (paid bi-weekly) About the Role We're looking for an organised and proactive Transport Administrator to join our Logistics and Operations team. You'll play a key part in keeping our transport department running smoothly — ensuring all documentation, deliveries, and communications are managed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming and outgoing transport documentation including PODs, invoices, and delivery notes Process, validate, and archive Proof of Delivery (POD) documents within deadlines Coordinate delivery schedules and updates with drivers and third-party carriers Track deliveries and maintain accurate logs and records Update internal systems daily with transport and delivery information Liaise with warehouse staff, suppliers, and customers to resolve queries Ensure compliance through proper documentation and filing Support the Operations Manager in maintaining transport records for audits Prepare weekly and monthly reports on deliveries and transport KPIs Escalate unresolved or critical issues promptly Skills & Experience Previous experience in transport, logistics, or administration (preferred) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with transport management systems (TMS) is an advantage Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Positive, problem-solving attitude Interested?
