Job Location: Canada Job Type: Remote Experience required: 3-6 yeas of relevant experience Job Description: About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant to join our project team. The consultant will play a critical role in supporting an interface-heavy project , with a strong focus on testing and validation between SAP and an external application used for inventory tracking for regulatory reasons. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle , hands-on testing experience, and the ability to generate and manage test data for various movement types in SAP SD . Key Responsibilities Work closely with business and technical teams to validate interfaces between SAP SD and external applications . Execute test planning, test execution, and validation activities for end-to-end OTC scenarios. Generate and manage test data for different movement types in SAP. Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and ensure accurate data flow across systems. Document test results, defects, and resolutions, ensuring compliance with project quality standards. Provide functional expertise on SD configuration and OTC cycle processes . Support knowledge transfer and handover to internal teams post-deployment. Required Skills & Experience 3–6 years of hands-on SAP SD functional experience. Strong understanding of the OTC cycle (Sales, Delivery, Billing, Invoicing) . Proven experience with interface testing and validation in SAP projects. Ability to generate test data for different movement types in SAP. Good understanding of master data related to SD (customers, materials, pricing, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have Prior experience in integration projects with external applications. Knowledge of IDocs, middleware, or interface monitoring tools . Exposure to working in regulated industries (life sciences, pharma, etc.) would be an advantage.
