Responsibilities Position is based in a short-term acute care facility and Level IV trauma center Work on a dedicated MRI unit with a 1:1 patient-to-technologist ratio Patients include a broad spectrum typical of acute care settings Uses GE Artist 1.5T scanner and Epic EMR system Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, typically 3x12s from 7:00 to 19:00 Weekend shifts are required, initially Friday through Sunday with possible changes after orientation No required on-call or block scheduling Floating to nearby sister facilities may be required Must have a vehicle for travel to potentially float between locations Modules averaging 16 hours are required for orientation and must be completed pre-start and annually Scrub attire may be any color or business casual as appropriate for the role Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position Travelers are required to float between all facilities within the state as needed Holiday coverage and flexibility with shift changes are required Return policy requires a 3 month gap between permanent and travel roles at the facility Requirements Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience required Experience with GE Artist 1.5T MRI scanner required Epic EMR experience is required Must hold any applicable state license for MRI Technologists; license required if applicable Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Must be able to commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634612.
