Work Shift Day (United States of America) Job Summary: The PCS Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is responsible for coordinating recruitment and retention strategies for Patient Care Services by providing dedicated support for departmental and divisional leadership. Responsible for developing and maintaining recruiting networks and methodologies, including establishing relationships with academic partners. Communicates and coordinates efforts with various disciplines within HR. Serves as point person to help individuals navigate career opportunities to avoid turnover. Collects and aggregates data to guide strategies, measure effectiveness, and identify opportunities. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Establishment and maintenance of PCS Administration Recruitment Network: Serve as the primary representative for PCS Administration in maintaining current recruitment networks with local universities and technical colleges while actively working to expand the network with the goal of ensuring PCS Administration's graduate and experienced new hire pipe line for all Nursing, Allied Health and support staff positions. Development, coordination and implementation for recruitment events: Responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of recruitment and networking events facilitating PCS leadership, HR and applicant(s) interaction with the goal of identifying the best candidates for full and part time Nursing, Allied Health and support staff positions within PCS Administration. Retention Program Development: In coordination with patient care units and Human Resources, will develop and implement PCS Administration's retention program with the goals of increasing overall retention by identifying trends related to turnover, recommending and advising on initiatives to mitigate turnover and provide overall support to PCS Administration staff and departmental and divisional leadership. PCS Administration Growth: Assists the PCS Director Business Operations and PCS Administration divisional leadership in strategic planning related to setting year over year targets. Collect and aggregate data to guide strategies, measure program effectiveness, and identify opportunities for improvement. Advise on implementation of strategic initiatives relative to improving recruitment and retention methodologies and achieving set targets. Partnership with Human Resources: In execution of all its duties and responsibilities, will communicate and coordinate directly with applicable departments within Human Resources to facilitate implementation of their respective policies and procedures as it relates to the recruitment and retention of nursing, allied health and support staff within PCS Administration. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct. Required Minimum Education: Bachelors Nursing Masters Nursing Masters Health Administration preferred Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. RN‐COMPACT ‐ RN ‐ Multi‐state Compact or RN ‐ Reg Nurse (Single State) Required Minimum Experience: Three years of nursing experience is required Five years of nursing experience is preferred Required Minimum Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
