Human Resource Assistant - Amazon

We’re currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support our Fulfilment Centre teams across MEL8 (Mulgrave) and DVT4 (Craigieburn) , with potential support at DVT1 one day per week. This is a hands-on role that provides HR support to our associates, helping drive HR functional excellence and process improvement. Responsibilities Provide support across HR, benefits, and payroll topics Manage cases, projects, and stakeholder relationships Ensure employee documentation is complete and accurate Act as a subject-matter expert and escalate issues as needed Deliver training and guidance on policies and systems Create and distribute internal communications Conduct audits and analyse findings Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives Maintain strict confidentiality standards Your Profile Basic Qualifications: 6 months of HR experience 6 months of customer service experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Degree in HR or related field (completed or in progress) Experience in high-volume administration Familiarity with hourly workforce environments Understanding of employment law and payroll practices Additional Information Location: MEL8 (Mulgrave), DVT4 (Craigieburn) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 1:00pm Pay Rate: $37.98/hour Why Amazon?
