Job Description
Small transport business needs bookkeeper / admin assistant Part time or casual Onsite - Dandenong location Pay will depend on experience Responsibilities incl. but are not limited to Processing invoices, bills and payments Processing payroll superannuation and EOFY requirements Processing subcontractor payments Managing accounts payable and receivable Asset Management incl. properties and vehicles End of month reconciliations Management reporting ATO compliance, incl. WorkCover, BAS, FTC, IAS, TPAR and PAYG statements Bank and credit card reconciliations Supporting the overall accounting functions of multiple businesses Support transport manager with ad hoc tasks Data Entry Collect and collate manifests and send over to client Manage and maintain driver activities incl. BP fuel and Tolls Required Experience 3 years admin experience 1 years bookkeeping experience Proven experience with multiple businesses Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll (essential) Solid knowledge of Xero (essential) High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Someone that is proactive and that can self-manage to prioritise the daily tasks as and when needed A self-starter Experience with MS excel Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour Experience: Xero: 2 years (Required) Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required) Data entry: 1 year (Required) Administration: 3 years (Required) MS Excel: 1 year (Required) Transport and Logistics: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
