LEADING HAND

QUIN SPORTS & NETS require a pro-active LEADING HAND to work with a small team managing & installing sports equipment, netting & posts in schools, recreation & sports grounds, clubs, industrial sites, councils and homes. The position is 5 days per week (Mon-Fri) with employment being on a full-time basis (salary position). In addition to a negotiated salary, a generous Motor Vehicle allowance will also be offered to attract the right candidate. Our Office & Warehouse is based in Port Adelaide with most work undertaken out on job sites, however some office/warehouse duties are required. Although quite rare, it should be noted that there is the possibility of being required to travel away for a short period to complete a job if necessary. Must be a team player, prepared to work hard and apply attention to detail. Drivers Licence is essential. Advantageous licenses included White Card, Elevated Work Platform, Working Safely at Heights, Heavy Vehicle (MR/HR/HC), Forklift Licence. Applicants will be required to pass a Working With Children Check and must adhere to our Drug & Alcohol Policy, which can include testing. Duties Involve: Manage & plan production and installations Lead, train and oversee production staff Job inductions & Toolbox meetings Ensure jobs are completed safely and in a timely manner Quality control measures OH&S compliance Hiring of equipment Manage maintenance of Plant & Equipment Stock management and control Liaise with CEO and installation staff Provide costings, quotes and estimates Maintain CRM database Oversee staff timesheets Skills Required: Demonstrated ability to lead Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic Excellent communication and team working skills.
