Ensuring that our road sweepers are in job ready mode to continue providing essential public cleaning services will form a part of your day’s responsibilities whilst working in a friendly team. No two days are the same! Enviro Sweep now has a permanent full-time position available to join our dynamic and busy Workshop team located in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane, Queensland. About the Role This full-time position is based in Acacia Ridge in a fully equipped workshop, working in a small yet active team, reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and will be responsible for: The completion of all scheduled fleet servicing and repairs on Road Sweepers Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting Interpretation of Operator DVR's, pre-starts and completion of all relevant documentation Preventative maintenance Reporting issues that may cause failure or breakdowns Attending breakdowns when required Okay, great! What do I need to have to be successful? The successful applicant is to have: A Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology qualification, or Certificate III in Light Vehicle or Automotive Mechanical, Automotive Electrical, Engineering (Mechanical Trade), Fitter-Mechanic (or comparable international qualifications) OR are working towards one of these, as a starting point Proficient mechanical knowledge and demonstrated experience in relative trade At least two to three years’ relevant employment experience An MR license is desirable but not essential. We will help support the right applicant in obtaining one Ability to work autonomously or under direct supervision A work approach based on solution-finding and continuous improvement Strong time management with a sense of urgency- those streets and sites need to be cleaned A high customer service focus- for your internal (team) and external (clients and suppliers) customers Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment No experience with Road Sweepers and their mechanical needs?
