We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable Trade Assistant with a mechanical background to join our team and work in our busy workshop! Whether you have experience with cars, trucks, or various machinery, we want to hear from you. This full-time role offers on-the-job training to help you grow your skills. About the Role This full-time position is based in Brisbane at our Acacia Ridge site. The role reports to the Workshop Supervisor and is responsible for: Assisting to ensure that the quality of service to clients meets and exceeds customer and management expectations Comprehensive on-the-job training to enhance your skills. Assist with all service and repair works in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and standards Ensure the Workshop facilities, plant & equipment are appropriately always maintained Ensure relevant administrative responsibilities are completed as per standards and efficiency levels Contribute to a harmonious working environment To be great at this role, you will require: Experience in a similar role in a workshop environment A mechanical background, with an interest in automotive repair. Willingness to learn or to bring skills in assembly, modification and fitment of automotive electrical components Be a positive team player with enthusiasm to learn An MR license is desirable but not essential. We will help support the right applicant in obtaining one Be Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team Reliability and a solid work ethic Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including a Drug and Alcohol Test.
