Storeperson (Afternoon Shift 2pm - 10pm)

Southern Steel Queensland is QLD's leading steel supplier and processing company, operating across 5 locations in the state. We’re seeking a motivated Storeperson to join our Wacol branch for the Afternoon Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday. We're a powerhouse in the steel industry, renowned for our comprehensive distribution and processing service throughout Queensland. Responsibilities include: Warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes/forklifts Picking & packing orders, unloading, loading and stacking materials Completing documents associated with deliveries Operating machines, when required General warehouse duties and supporting the warehouse team Following the correct safety procedures at all times Someone who is a team player, reliable, and enjoys a fast-paced environment will be perfectly suited to this role. To succeed in this role, you will have: Experience in a similar role or understanding of warehouse operations (not essential) Willing to undergo Forklift and Overhead Crane training. Great communication skills, ability to follow instructions and work well within a team. An excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn.
