General Hand

Chandler Macleod are currently seeking two detail-oriented and proactive G eneral Hands to join our fast-paced distribution centre team in Hazelmere. You will be responsible for inspecting, correcting, and repackaging products to ensure they meet our quality and customer standards before shipment. Shift Time: Monday to Friday ongoing, hours are 6.00am-2.00pm Key Responsibilities Perform quality checks on returned or mispacked items Rework orders due to mislabelling, damaged packaging, or incorrect assembly Repack and relabel goods to meet customer or internal specifications Ensure all reworked stock is correctly scanned, logged, and placed in appropriate locations Collaborate with the picking, packing, and quality teams to identify and resolve recurring issues Follow all health and safety procedures and warehouse best practices Maintain a clean and organised work area What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre (preferred but not essential) Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach Ability to work independently and within a team Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners or warehouse systems Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, lift/move items as required A proactive attitude towards maintaining quality and reducing waste Benefits Competitive hourly rate / salary On-the-job training and opportunities for development Staff discounts / company perks At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
