Site Agent

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The role is responsible for ensuring all site operations run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and oversee daily site activities to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and to the required quality standards. Supervise and coordinate all trades, subcontractors, and site personnel to maintain smooth workflow and efficient resource allocation. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure accurate execution. Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions to address deviations or delays. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain construction excellence. Liaise with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and client representatives to provide updates and resolve on-site challenges. Prepare and maintain daily site diaries, progress reports, and relevant project documentation. Manage materials ordering, deliveries, and inventory to prevent shortages or wastage. Drive adherence to company construction standards, specifications, and building codes. Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a culture of accountability and safety awareness. Identify risks and escalate issues that may impact timelines, costs, or quality. Support mentoring and development of site supervisors and junior staff. Promote teamwork, communication, and collaboration across all site functions. Requirements National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience Experience with residential or warehousing will be beneficial Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and quality standards Proficiency in MS Projects
