ER RN Job Details Location: Worcester, MA 01655 (Massachusetts nursing jobs) Facility: Leading Medical Center – Emergency Department Surge/Overflow Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/16/2025 – End: 3/17/2026) Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours/week Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250-$2310 Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract Orientation: 24 hours included Self-Scheduling: Available with manager approval Weekend Coverage: Required Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license (required for MA healthcare jobs) Minimum 1.5 years of recent ER nursing experience (2 years preferred) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (all required for emergency room nurse jobs) EPIC charting experience preferred Trauma Level I experience preferred Ability to pass telemetry test during orientation (score: 80%) Skills in chest tube management, PCA pumps, phlebotomy, IV management, telemetry, and dysrhythmia interpretation preferred Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ER surge/overflow area Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias Perform procedures: chest tube management, PCA pump administration, phlebotomy, IV starts/maintenance Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC (preferred) Comply with hospital policies and healthcare regulations Participate in orientation and required training modules Float to other nursing units as needed Ready to make an impact in a fast-paced emergency room environment?
