The business is scaling, but the systems and data infrastructure need a reset not just to keep up, but to unlock the next level of performance. That’s where you come in. They are hiring a Business Systems & Data Lead to take full ownership of a critical transformation. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in complexity, sees the bigger picture, and knows how to deliver. You’ll be the bridge between business needs and technical execution stabilising systems, rebuilding data foundations, and enabling smarter decisions across the organisation. If you are an aspiring Data Architect, Solutions Architect or someone who would like to get exposure to a big transformation this might be the right place for you to be. You don’t need to be an ERP guru or a Business Central veteran that’s a bonus, not a barrier. What matters is your ability to lead from the front, solve problems, and drive results. What You’ll Be Driving: ERP Turnaround & Systems Leadership Lead the stabilisation and optimisation of the Business Central environment Manage the migration to a clean, scalable BC database Data Platform & Business Intelligence Own the Microsoft Fabric data warehouse as the single source of truth Build scalable data models and maintain dashboards in Power BI Translate raw data into actionable insights for senior leadership Support ad-hoc analysis across commercial, operational, and finance team Governance, Collaboration & Team Leadership Lead and grow the data team, including future hires Manage external tech vendors with high standards and cost discipline Define architectural standards and ensure data integrity and compliance Partner with department heads to deliver sustainable, business-aligned solutions Push back on workarounds that compromise scalability or data truth What You’ll Bring Proven experience delivering complex systems or data projects end-to-end Strong technical skills in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and advanced SQL Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data orchestration Python skills are a plus ERP and Business Central experience is a nice to have , not a must If this sounds like a role you would like to sink your teeth into please get in touch with me, Kumbirai Mafini - kumbirai.mafini@opusrs.com
