Our warehouse team members are the unsung heroes—picking, packing, and dispatching the products that fill the shelves of your favourite family-owned stores. We’re currently hiring Pick Packers to join our energetic team at the Huntingwood Distribution Centre, with exciting roles available in our Perishables Warehouse. About Perishables As part of our Perishables team, you’ll be responsible for handling temperature-sensitive goods such as dairy, meat, frozen foods, fresh produce, and other chilled or frozen items, ensuring they are stored and distributed under strict temperature controls to maintain product quality. *These roles require you to work in cold storage areas ranging from -20°C to 4°C. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is supplied to ensure your safety and comfort while working in cold conditions. About the role: These hands-on roles involve working in a dynamic warehouse setting, contributing to the smooth and timely movement of stock from warehouse to store. To thrive, you’ll need a good level of physical fitness, as it involves lifting heavy boxes (up to 24kg) and standing or walking for long periods throughout your shift. Got a forklift license? That’s a bonus—but not a dealbreaker. What we offer: Casual positions with the potential to work up to 38 hours per week , with shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours per day , depending on business needs. Shifts available: Monday-Friday, shift start times between 7am-9am Monday-Thursday, 11am-7pm with overtime available on Friday and Saturday Important requirements: PPE is supplied for those working in the perishables warehouse.
