Find out more about our school by visiting medinaps.wa.edu.au or Schools Online The Role Medina PS is seeking an exceptional 0.6 (3 days per week) Mainstream Education Assistant to support literacy and numeracy in our school. The successful applicant will ideally have experience across all year levels from Kindergarten to Year 6. Your primary role should be working in our kindergarten class under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher, to provide additional support. As a Mainstream Education Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of planned education programs, including managing small groups of students under the direction of the teacher that should help in the development of young students in relation to their literacy and numeracy skills, and support their general health and wellbeing. The successful applicant will ideally have an understanding of Early Childhood Education, National Quality Standards and working with younger students. You will be required to work in collaboration with the classroom teacher. Want to know more?
