The Opportunity We are in an exciting growth phase in our business, with a renewed focus on building and investing behind Australia’s favourite chilled juice brands. As a result of an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our team in Mansfield on a full-time basis. As Grove's management accountant, you will support internal decision-making and enhance business efficiency, profitability, and strategic success by providing relevant financial insights and analysis. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts pack. Preparation of daily and weekly forecasts. Reporting on performance; including variances (materials, labour, overheads), sales and margin analysis, inventory management and operational productivity. Reporting on foreign currency requirements and shortfalls. Utilising QAD so that reporting requirements are achieved (use of ODBC to help ensure accuracy and real-time reporting) Ensuring accurate processing of transactions (managing product lines, cost centres, sub accounts, GL accounts, accounting periods etc.). Reconciling control accounts, fixed asset registers and balance sheet accounts. Providing assistance to auditors. Skills and Capabilities Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills. Proficiency in cost accounting and performance reporting. Advanced Excel and data modeling abilities. Intermediate skills with other Office packages (Outlook, Teams, Word & Power BI). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QAD). Excellent problem-solving and decision-support skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement. High attention to detail and professional integrity. Essential Criteria Minimum 5 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis. Prior experience within the FMCG or manufacturing industry. Sound knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification (or working towards) – e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CPA would be viewed favourably. The salary and benefits package will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
