POSITION OVERVIEW Position Title: Classroom Education Support Officer (3-6) Commencing: 19/01/2026 Type: Fixed Term Contract Hours of Work: 22.5 - 27 hours per week (negotiable for the right person) over 5 days term time only Reports to: CLIC Coordinator FTE Salary: Commensurate with qualifications & experience ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a passionate ESO who will hold close to the values of Cedar College as outlined in this document, and will work collaboratively with the classroom teacher, the Inclusive Learning Team and the Primary CLIC Coordinator. Necessary Qualifications and Checks: Certificate III in School-Based Education Support or higher (Desirable); a current Working with Children Check, Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and RRHAN-EC training (Responding to the Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training) prior to commencing employment at Cedar College. Passionate about seeing improved learning outcomes for all students. Be reliable and responsible in building trust within the Cedar community and acting with excellence and integrity. Demonstrate the ability to interact with students and colleagues in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner.
