Trades Assistant

Job Summary: Have a trade certificate or relevant experience Computer literate Valid driver's license and own vehicle Physically fit We are seeking a dedicated Trades Assistant to join our team at our West Gosford based warehouse setup business, specializing in the installation and repair of various warehouse racking systems. This role requires either a trade certificate or prior experience as a Trades Assistant, however if you are young or older, as long as you are eager to learn we would encourage you to apply. The Role: The successful candidate will assist in various tasks related to the installation and repair of racking systems. Key responsibilities include: · Working alongside experienced tradespeople to support project execution. · Utilizing drawing software applications for project planning and execution (desirable). · Demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to learning. · Performing manual tasks including labouring, with a focus on accuracy and safety. · Maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should: · Have a trade certificate or relevant experience as a Trades Assistant Preferred but not essential. · Possess experience using drawing software applications or the willingness to learn. · Be physically fit and willing to undertake manual labour. · Be computer literate and capable of learning new software programs. · Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic. · Reside within the Central Coast Council area of NSW. · Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to your own vehicle due as there is no close public transport. · Additional favorable considerations include experience in spray painting, welding, workshop environments, and possessing a Truck MR or Forklift license.
