We are seeking a dynamic Principal Product Owner to oversee the end-to-end management of our strategic customer-facing digital initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will guide products from initial concept through continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with our department's objectives. Leading a multidisciplinary team, you'll define a product vision and execute strategies that deliver customer value. You'll create a product roadmap that balances immediate needs with future goals while analysing customer feedback to inform decisions. Collaborating with UX teams, you'll enhance user experience, integrate valuable solutions, and mentor the product team on best practices and compliance. For further information please click here to view the role description About you Proven experience as a Product Owner Strong understanding of digital trends and best practices Experience with AEM or other web content management systems Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to balance immediate business needs with strategic vision Experience with user-centred design methodologies Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential requirements of the role Certificate in Agile Scrum Master, Prince 2 or PMBOK project management or equivalent and/or experience in Product Management Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
