This is a permanent part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2025 Dianella Heights Primary School (PS) is an independent public primary school with approximately 450 students of twenty nationalities situated in the suburb of Dianella, seven kilometres from the Perth CBD. The school has strong community support, including an informed School Board that provides direction for the school, and an active P&C that provides significant ongoing financial support. Find out more about our school by visiting dianellaheightsprimary.wa.edu.au or Schools Online The Role The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the library ensuring that information, resources and other services are available to students and staff. Working collaboratively with staff the successful applicant should prepare stimulating, topical and culturally appropriate library displays to enhance learning. Managing the library budget and purchasing resources to align with curriculum initiatives is a key responsibility and knowledge in this area will be highly advantageous. Other duties include but are not limited to accessioning resources, assisting users to find information, creating bulk loans, assisting with stocktake, and maintaining the resource register. Experience in administering a library system (SmartSuite) is desirable. The successful applicant may undertake office administration support when required.
