Delivery Driver/ Yard Assistant

We are a family owned plumbing and civil construction supply company in the heart of Diamond Creek, Victoria. We supply civil goods to new estates across Victoria as well as plumbing supplies to residential areas around Melbourne Metro. We are looking for a Full time Driver to join our small, hardworking team. Applicants must hold at minimum a Medium Rigid truck licence and have experience driving vehicles in the Melbourne Metro area. The Roles of the driver include - Order picking and packing - Loading vehicles for dispatch - Delivering goods to site in a company ute or truck - Manual handling of goods and manual hand unloading of vehicles - Complete thorough proof of delivery procedure as well as record a driver run sheet - General warehouse duties and yard assistance -Full, training will be provided to successful candidates All applicants must have a switched on, hard working attitude and be a willing team player. Applicants must be confident with manual handling of heavy goods. This is a stable job in a good team environment, right next to public transport and Diamond Creek shopping precinct. Above award wages are on offer. An immediate start is available.
