We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period. Find out more about our school by visiting edneyps.wa.edu.au or Schools Online The Role As a School Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our school and will be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting visitors, answering the telephone, responding to routine enquiries and have highly efficient organisational and clerical skills. You will ideally work cohesively in a team environment and promote excellence within our school, whilst displaying initiative and approaching all challenges with a growth mindset. The successful applicant should have experience in providing high levels of customer service and be a supportive and capable team member. They would share responsibility for supporting the manager Corporate Services in administering the financial, physical and human resources of the school whilst upholding confidentiality and security of sensitive material. The School Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of the school. This may include tasks such as undertaking account and GST coding, recording, reconciling financial records and processing invoices. Experience in RM billing, RM Finance and Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRMIS) processing is a strong requirement of the position. Want to know more? Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing. Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
