Bar Supervisor in Port Hedland WA

The Walkabout Hotel in Port Hedland WA is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to join the team. Key Responsibilities:  Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service during peak times.  Supervise and lead bar staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.  Provide training and guidance to new staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.  Work closely with the manager and owner to achieve desired outcomes for the business.  Communicate clearly with customers, ensuring their needs are met and that they have a positive experience.  Maintain a proactive and fun atmosphere in the bar, creating an environment where both staff and customers feel engaged and energized.  Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.  Manage stock levels and liaise with the manager for ordering to ensure inventory is maintained. Requirements:  Previous experience in a similar bar supervisory or managerial role is a must.  Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.  Strong leadership and communication skills.  Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.  Good work ethics and a strong commitment to excellence.  Ability to work alongside the manager to drive business success.  Approved manager card required.  Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
