Parts Manager - Wangara MG and Melville MG

Our dealership in Wangara is a part of Regent Motors, a growing automotive group in Western Australia. Wangara & Melville MG is currently looking for a driven and motivated Parts Manager to join our friendly team. This busy and varied role will see you involved in the selling, stock control and administration of spare parts. This role encompasses a range of duties and responsibilities including: Providing leadership and direction to the employees in the parts department, aligning sales activities with the broader business plan Regular reporting of department’s actual sales performance against set targets with variance and revised projections to the General Manager / Dealer Principal Promoting the dealership and brand Monitoring the sales revenue, margin, and expense performance initiating corrective action where required Monitoring competitors sales & product strategies, campaigns and events to optimise market share Recruiting, selecting and training of parts and accessories staff Development of all direct staff including performance management and appraisals Building and maintaining customer loyalty and support Skills & Experience: Essential Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role or extensive experience in a Parts Interpreter’s role with a proven sales record Strong working knowledge of the automotive industry Effective time management skills Experience managing and motivating a team Customer service focused Excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer literate You will also be committed to providing exceptional customer service and have well developed communication skills.
