The Role We’re seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Mechanic who takes pride in their work and can confidently diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure every vehicle is serviced to the highest standards — safely, efficiently, and with customer satisfaction in mind. What We're Looking For: Extensive hands-on mechanical experience (minimum 5 years preferred) Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding skills – especially with modern vehicles and 4WD Proven ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure Strong understanding of vehicle systems: engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electronics Experience with scan tools, diagnostics software, and electrical troubleshooting Ability to mentor apprentices and lead by example in the workshop Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid manual driver’s licence Must have permanent working rights within Australia Your Role Will Include: Performing advanced diagnostics and problem solving on a wide range of vehicles Carrying out high-quality repairs, servicing, and maintenance Supporting the workshop manager in workflow and quality control Using modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer specifications Guiding and training junior technicians and apprentices Ensuring a safe, clean, and professional work environment Why Join Bridgestone Select Tapping?
