KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Beverage Preparation & Expertise Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with care, consistency, and elegance. Carry a grounded knowledge of classic recipes, seasonal creations, and Still & Social signatures. Operate bar tools and equipment mindfully, treating each as an instrument of craft. Maintain polished glassware and thoughtfully prepared garnishes, ensuring every detail enhances the guest experience. Keep your station organised, calm, and ready to create moments of pause and pleasure. Guest Experience & Connection Welcome every guest with warmth, presence, and attentiveness. Take orders with clarity and genuine engagement, ensuring every guest feels seen and valued. Share knowledge of drinks, flavours, and pairings in a way that feels approachable and soulful. Create moments of connection through attentive service, mindful conversation, and a sense of belonging. Handle transactions with integrity, care, and respect for the guest’s experience. Stock & Stewardship Monitor and rotate stock thoughtfully, minimising waste while ensuring abundance. Support accurate ordering and receiving of supplies, aligning with our commitment to quality and consistency. Participate in stocktakes, helping forecast what is needed to sustain a seamless flow of service. Treat all resources — from spirits to garnishes — with care, knowing each contributes to the Still & Social ritual. Cleanliness & Atmosphere Maintain a bar space that feels inviting, clean, and soulful — a reflection of our essence. Care for tools, glassware, and equipment as extensions of your craft. Uphold hygiene and safety practices, protecting the wellbeing of guests and team.
