Zero-Max is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative. Critical to our success, the Customer Service Representative at Zero-Max will Serve as primary contact with customers in a business-to-business sales environment Communicate with customers regarding price, delivery, requests for product information, and quotations Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company's production and delivery schedules Process and acknowledge customer purchase orders in ERP system Proactively communicate order status updates with customers Ensure timely handling of expedited orders through effective coordination with production and shipping Prepare export paperwork for international shipments Uphold company standards for document retention, recordkeeping, and data integrity Investigate and resolve customer related issues using Case & RMA process Process invoices and credit memos for returned products and work with accounting on corresponding debit memos Promote products and professional image of Zero-Max Alert management of unusual or extraordinary account requests or activity Live the Zero-Max Core Values including providing best in class service, holding themselves accountable, and doing the right thing Requirements: Education and/or Experience Experience in a manufacturer's customer service environment, especially telephone communication and email with customers and potential accounts, is preferred 3-5 years of customer service experience, preferred ERP and CRM experience: Epicor ERP experience preferred International experience in exporting is strongly preferred Other Skills and Abilities Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and strong work ethic Self-starter with little direction required who can see the big picture and reason through problems to find solutions Ability to convey information effectively across departments and with external partners Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office software The ability to handle sales-related phone calls Proficient with data entry of orders Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrate the principle that customer service is top priority Mechanical aptitude is an asset Reliable member of the team, showing consistent attendance and punctuality Ability to work well with others in a small team environment Ability to work well under pressure Ability to handle several tasks concurrently Ability to read and interpret documents such as product catalogs, shipping terminology, parts drawings, operation and maintenance instructions Physical Demands To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
