HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver – Day Shifts People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Tipton, West Midlands . Shifts: • Monday to Friday – Day shifts Rates of Pay: • £15.00 per hour Benefits: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing, consistent work • Weekly pay • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: • Carry out multi-drop deliveries to various locations • Drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently between sites • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensure all cargo is safely and securely loaded • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers • Report any vehicle faults or maintenance needs to management • Assist with loading and unloading as required Essential Skills: • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence • Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six points for minor offences (no major endorsements) • Good level of written and spoken English • Punctuality and strong time management • Solid understanding of road transport laws and safety regulations • Ability to operate both manual and automatic gearboxes • Excellent communication and customer service skills Desirable Experience: • Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving • Experience operating other commercial vehicles Training Provided: • Full training and ongoing support provided throughout employment Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
